Sequoya's Editorial Staff
Our staff is a dedicated, talented, and creative group of St. John's students who have willingly dedicated their time to the publication. Several of our staff members have been published in Sequoya both this year and in years past, and we couldn't be more proud of each other.
Editor-in-Chief
Laura Altieri
Laura is a Senior in the School of Education at SJU. She majors in Adolescent Education with a concentration in English and is in the 5-Year Literacy Master's Program. Laura has been a copy editor for Sequoya since her freshman year, eventually becoming editor-in-chief in 2019 when she was a junior. She is also published in this year's publication.
Senior Editor
Jaymi Grullon
Jaymi is a Senior within St. John's College at SJU with a major in English and a minor in Creative Writing. She is currently in the BA/MA program for English, and she has been an editor/contributor for Sequoya since her freshman year. Jaymi has worked as a copy editor and has been published in this year's publication, herself.
Junior Editors
Francesca Fazio
Francesca is a Sophomore in CPS and St. John’s College. She is double majoring in Journalism and Environmental Science and has been an editor/contributor since her Freshman year. She excited to be a part of this amazing magazine bring the creativity of SJU together!
Jenna Fliesen
Jenna is a Sophomore within St. John’s College who is majoring in Government and Politics. Although this is her first year, she is the social media chair and a junior editor.
